Klopp leaving Liverpool

Brilliant manager. Looking at the statement it sounds like he is taking a career break but given all his staff are going it could be a fall out? I thought Pepijn Lijnders would take over but he is leaving also. Alonso then?
This isn't particularly unusual is it, pretty standard practice for a managers staff to leave when he does and whoever comes in to bring their own in.

I know a lot of people don't like him but I just don't get it - I think he's a proper footballing man, a fantastic manager and great to watch. Of course he defends the indefensible at times (lets not forget our very own Mogga can do the same - remember Fry's eye), but for me he's brought a huge amount to English football.

Liverpool will struggle massively to repalce him.
Sir Alex Ferguson moment for the koppites.

O dear. Never mind. What a shame. 🤣🤣🤣👍👍

It doesn't come as a great shock to me - I was speaking to a Liverpool fan the other day and said to him that from the outside it appears something has changed with him. He has always been heart on sleeve but there has been a huge change in his demeanour at pitch side this year. You barely see him in anything other than a rage and that comes from pressure and fatigue. Running a truly massive club like Liverpool must be utterly draining and he just looks like he has run out of gas. Agree with other comments he is a proper football man and leaves the game as a legend (regardless of club allegiances).

No wonder he’s tired, all those hours on the Peloton…

Seems like a decent bloke outside of football but my dislike of all things Liverpool FC means that I really, really hope they don’t win the league this year. The fawning would be too much for me.

I imagine had it not been for City he'd have won far more. I mean his actual trophy haul in 10 years is 'alright'. He's won almost one of everything.

Yet compered to Pep and his country backed 'cheats' it's not remotely as impressive. I imagine he'd have cleaned up had it not been for City.

The prem will miss him. A top manager 👍

I got the impression that the owners held back with investment.. probably the right time to move with several big players coming to the end of their contacts.

gonna be tough to replace.. nigh on impossible. Klopp and Liverpool were a really good fit.

Brilliant passionate manager ( and sounds like a bloke with a social conscience) and a club I respect and admire enormously over their work on supporting Hillsborough victims families. Never understand the hatred and green eyed monster posts on here about Liverpool. They like a lot if clubs in the premier league operate in a different stratosphere to us. Haven’t got the energy to hate clubs we have no affinity with. I do love to watch good teams playing good football but I am completely lost by the hatred for a club like Liverpool on a Boro message . Each to his / her own I suppose.

And if hadn’t been for Bayern he would have won more at Dortmund
