Kate, Princess of Wales - not seen this year.

That won't be enough for some...

Queue the "anyone could have written that" lines

"Probably William while he has her locked up in his dungeon" might be another

The only suggestion is there is something wrong with the alignment of Princess Charlottes left hand...

I could have guessed which poster would already be all over this thread, anything Royal and he's on it like rabid dog. Obsessed

I'm not interested in any of the conspiracy theories, I don't care.

However that image is badly photoshopped and there's loads of examples besides a missing ring and a weird hand.

Can everyone calm the fcuk down now then please? It’s like a women’s institute on here sometimes 😅

Yeah and can everyone stop speculating about the Fritzls please? Josefs said they're fine they're just not coming out the house today thats all.

Apparently, there are too many leaves on the background tree for this time of the year.

He's just double jointed. One of my kids does it.
yes the fingers bit isn't of any concern, there are far more obvious tell tale signs of photoshop manipulation, and of course there could be innocent explanations. What it appears to indicate is that Kate is unwilling or unable to take that family photo and it's a poorly composited shot from a couple of photos. The reason she is unwilling and unable, I'm not really going to speculate on, but the speculation exists from others purely because the royals have treated people like idiots thinking this poorly photoshopped image will be accepted without question.

It is quite feasible that it is just a composite of several shots. Plenty of phones do that as a feature these days. The bit I'm not sure about is that surely that always happens so why is this photo being returned for being altered and none of the previous ones have been? Do the media always do this? If they do then wouldn't the Royals know the rules around submitting photos to the media and wouldn't do that.

Although, if I was under suspicion for bumping off a member of the family and I was trying to cover the tracks with a photoshopped image of her on Mother's day then I'd probably use my considerable wealth to get someone that knows what they are doing to do it properly.

I can’t believe this story over a photo. What a kerfuffle. People seem to be losing their minds over this.
It's not really about the photo. There have been rumours and conspiracies, as highlighted by the fact this thread precedes the photo. When there are conspiracies and rumours and someone provides evidence to show that everything is alright but it is clearly photoshopped then all it does is fan the flames of those conspiracies rather than quell them. A photoshopped photo, even an innocently one, is the same as no photo at all (or worse even because it adds another layer to the conspiracy).

I guess the difficulty they have is that whatever reason they have for creating a composite shot (which seems the most likely explanation), they would need to create the image from within the palace, not from an external company, for fear of leaking. Does Kensington Palace have it's own full time photoshop expert, probably not.
