Kate, Princess of Wales - not seen this year.

That photo from yesterday and the AP “kill notice” blaming the source of the image (ie Kensington Palace) is the weirdest thing.

Must admit when I first saw it it didn’t seem quite right, then next time I went online a whole shitstorm had blown up with people highlighting the obvious photoshop errors.

I’m not really one for royal gossip but the whole situation is bizarre, I’m interested now. And for the royal family, absolute masters of PR, to release such a shoddy image as ‘proof of life’ or whatever which is immediately disowned because it’s fake by the world’s main news agency is so bizarre.

The obvious explanation is that it’s a composite of a few different pics because they wanted one with all the kids smiling but… given the amount of speculation around all this, I’m shocked they’d leave any room for more rumours.

William took the photograph and issued it to press agencies for publication. The photograph includes Kate and their children. The photograph has been manipulated with Kensington Palace declining to comment.

Discussion is hardly invading the family's privacy or gossip for that matter.
 
Maybe he's got a phone which makes a composite image using AI to ensure that everyone is smiling. No mean feat when children are involved.

I bet Holbein never had these problems when he was banging out royal portraits.

Have you ever tried to get a family portrait involving a few kids which doesn't have at least one not looking at the camera, blinking, sticking out their tongue, putting fingers up etc. so not surprised they'd take a few & merge the best of them for an 'official photograph' but nothing more sinister than that.

That's not the issue regarding the "kill notice". It's the high probability that Kate isn't in the picture at all. I'm not a photoshop expert by any means, however the first thing I saw was the clear stitching of two photos. Kate is not the person sat in that chair.

Before the "kill notice" would be issued, they would have asked for the raw image. It clearly doesn't exist.

I thought that. Their PR is terrible. Just come out and say Willy is crap with photoshop if that's the issue.

The longer they remain silent the more dodgy they look. From a family with a track record of looking dodgy and not being entirely truthful.

What is it you desperately need to know about Kate and how will it improve your day having that information?
 
So I'm mildly interested in this like a lot of people and seen all the conspiracies about this photo - weird sleeve, leaves on trees, no ring on her hand, etc...

I think it's fairly innocuous and probably easily explained, they're just making an **** of it as usual. The only thing that piqued my interest is that the BBC mentions all of this apart from the ring situation, which makes me wonder if there is some truth to that....
 
The only suggestion is there is something wrong with the alignment of Princess Charlottes left hand...

I could have guessed which poster would already be all over this thread, anything Royal and he's on it like rabid dog. Obsessed :LOL:
