Just drove past a packed Preston Park

New member Aet. Wouldnt rise to the bait.

Well I say new member, it's just another one if the COB lot. Like clockwork. 😂
What a sad reflection of this country, and this board, that the people suggesting the law should be followed are the ones being criticised. I hope there are some decent people on this board too.

Not saying I agree with the rules and I don't think that people on Redcar beach are particularly in danger of spreading the virus. However, the return of children to the classroom is for a purpose. Walking along a beach, not so much.

Look this is just about numbers now. We keep our contact with other people to a minimum whilst we get the vaccinations done. You can argue that opening Primark before the pubs doesn't make sense but the numbers there are economics. It is a statistical balancing act opening thing up balanced against cost to the economy.

We're getting there be sensible. Here comes summer.
Walking along a beach after a year of going nowhere keeps you sane

That's the purpose

Wow is this thread still going ?

some of you ought to get off the internet for a while. May be get in the car and go for a walk in the park. Might cheer you up and give you an opportunity to improve your mental health.
How many times have you said this is your last post on the thread?

I'm not the one with the ageist agenda. I'm 36. These kids and youngsters have been cooped up all winter and haven't seen their friends as schools have been closed to those who's parents aren't doctors and nurses.

If you were their age you would be doing the exact same thing this weekend if you'd been in their position and you can say you wouldn't all you like but you know it's true.
Don't tell me what I would or wouldn't do you don't have a clue. You're speculating, wrongly for that matter. Just stick to the guidelines and it will soon be over with. A sunny weekend in February and everybody loses their ****. We've all been cooped up; young, middle aged and elderly. Evereybody's mental health is suffering and nobody, absolutely nobody, is getting off scot-free with this. Stop creating this division young against old with your juvenile sarcastic comments.

No.
I'll stick to walking up the hills either by myself or with my kids. As mentioned in a previous post, I have a paved back yard 10x2 metres. I
won't subject my kids to torture like that. Looking like another sunny one tomorrow which we shall take advantage of mooching up the hills again, which by the way I can do from my house, whilst the weekend walkers are back at work.
