....isn't it about time the "FFS Bausor, what have you been doing all day!!!" irrational social media posts started? Very quiet.....🤔🤔

Sure a couple of FB groups will have started the "Bausor out!!" posts about 9 this morning.......
 
Yeah, you'd think the Gazette would have caught wind of something by now if there was anything going to happen. Losing hope...
 
Might still be working on something.

The club usually tell the local journos they can clock off for the night by now if nothings happening

A complete waste of a season then. We will sell Hackney in the summer get half the recruits we need for next season sell in jan again rinse and repeat. Carrick will get pîssed off and leave if we persist in cashing in on players and reinvesting half heartedly.
 
Doesn’t look like anyone arriving now - and being realistic there’s no point signing someone who isn’t the right fit for us just to appease a few whiny fans. They might just not have been able to get the player that they wanted in - we won’t be the only ones who haven’t got the the target or targets they wanted
 
The annoying thing is that we've needed a striker for ages, long before there was even any interest in Rogers from Villa so get them in early and not be scratching around on deadline day. You'd like to think that once we knew Rogers was likely going for the fee we wanted we'd have one or two lined up.

I get that we want to do things under wraps, like we did with Thomas, but there's nothing, not even any tenuous links.

I really can't see us bringing anyone else in now, and if we signed Azaz, Ayling and Thomas today, we'd probably be a little less anxious, but its a worry if we plan on seeing the season out with what we've got up front.
 
Lets be honest, a lot of our signings nowadays come totally out of the blue and without any prior leaks etc. There's still nearly 4 hours left, plenty of time. Some people, as per usual, just get sucked into this whole Sky Sports razzmatazz. These Fabrizio Romano type characters don't help either.
 
Great window for me irrespective of whether we get a last minute striker in. Some high quality defenders in when we were conceding far too many goals. Promising young forward in Azaz that will add a lot in coming weeks. Excellent work by the recruitment team

No, it’s been a disaster and we might as well just write the season off right now apparently 😂

I think quite a few of the squad have really improved through playing this season.
We're cetrainly not going to be as high in the league at the end of the season as we were last, but I think we're in better shape overall than we were at the end of last season.

I think Hackney will stay another 12 months unless there’s a stupid stupid offer. 25+

This season hasn’t been a write off, we’ve bedded in a number of young players who will be better for it next year. RVDB for example will start next year having a full season under his belt.

Others such as lath and Engel will be bedded into our way of playing and English football and will be better for it

Maybe not but he’ll be in the squad and will be better for this years experience

Bangura will probably be first choice and he’s at least had a taste and trained for a few months in carricks style, he’ll hit the ground running next year
 
I’m 50/50 on the whole thing. Annoyed we’re weaker up front than when the window started, but glad we haven’t brought in some absolute clogger for the sake of it.
