Josh Coburn

Classic 'football Twitter' oddity who act like he knows what he's on about and like he's some ardent student of the game because he's been given the false confidence by having a few followers.

So pleased for him.
Thought he was immense against Southmpton - probably the best I've seen him play.
My one worry was that the Soton defenders seemed incredibly weak (good on paper, poor on the day).
But Josh did it again today.
Well done - take a bow young lad!

Pretty sure he was injured for the last 15 minutes - appeared to be limping.

But his finish was never in doubt.

Could be absolute class.
That's a worry about his injury, at one point he was banging them in for fun last season at Rovers but he may have picked up an injury against Argyle in the Paint Trophy/ Cup and his 2nd half of
his loan went out with a whimper.

Sounds like his boots don't fit him properly, that will be a killer for him and will affect his performance, he can have them specially made and and then adapted to look like his sponsor boot's.

Always good to get off the mark of course, bug I don't think JC has ever lacked confidence

Prior to today, he'd scored a goal every 158 minutes playing in our first team, and much of that was as an 18 year old. That finish Vs spurs was the height of confidence.

Small sample of course, but he has no reason to doubt himself.

Josh is quality and will play for England. Sadly he won’t be with us then. Proper centre forward in the Kane mode, which are a rare bread now. Hope we have him tied to a decent contract and get a good fee for him.
