Is this the worst BORO team ever?

Considering the cost it took to assemble this. Statistically and historically we have had two worse teams. However, even if we do stay up is this the worst you’ve seen?

Yes I think it’s the worst I’ve seen but I only started going in 97. The other obvious candidate in my time is the post Strachan early Mowbray team.

Said tonight, it looks the worst since the dark days of the mid 80's. The only word I can use tonight is shocked. After Saturday I was hugely optimistic and didn't see that performance and result coming. Granted the referee was a disgrace, but to lose to a poor team like that who hadn't won since New Year's day... again, shocked!

Bring on Sunday, hopefully those who are currently shocked or whatever will have their state of mind eased with a decent result.
There have been worse teams than this, Carter's short era, Murdoch's managerial spell etc.

If you think this team is bad I remember the start of the 1982 season. Look at the home results and imagine how us fans felt at the time. Good job the internet was in its infancy.

That Grimsby match was dyer. Felt like I had taken my Boro scarf to a funeral.:(
