Wonder how long it will take for the fake England fans to start fighting with the real England fans.

They were migrant workers, not Qataris.

I'd guess the majority were from the Indian subcontinent.

It's always been this way.
You qualify through your continent, not globally.

FIFA have been trying to push the idea of concentrating on the football when the tournament started. Well from a pure football point of view that was a terrible game with an awful atmosphere.

Haven’t read the whole thread so it might have already been mentioned, but did anyone else think the group of Qatar fans behind the goal were genuine?

All around the stadium it seem liked every pocket of fans had a mixture of people, men, women, kids, fans of opposing teams sat next to each other and even fans who’s team weren’t playing. Yet there was a large section directly behind one of the goals full of Qatar fans all dressed in the same sort of clobber, participating in the same rehearsed routine? They just happened to get sat next to each other?

Other than that, the game was boring as f**k, I thought they might’ve shown a bit more than what they offered. They won’t score a single goal.

I have as much interest in this as I do league 2. Will watch England if they get to the knockouts, that's it.
