Yeah, John is a good guy, and means well, but he doesn't seem to grasp numbers as well as he claims, and had an early following of deniers, which he's seemingly tried to move away from. I think he's just quite gullible, though, and got suckered in by the "no second wave" and claims of 0.2-0.4% IFR in the real early days, which were just nowhere near true. I don't think he's a medical doctor either, think he's a doctor of philosophy, but don't quote me on that. It’s a real shame that some of these players have taken in some good people. Dr John Campbell has aired ivermectin stuff from both Kory and Dr Tess Laurie (who was very recently sharing a stage at an anti lockdown protest with David Icke for Christ’s sake!). I don’t believe for one second that John Campbell is anything other than a good man trying to make sense of it all and is honestly working his way through the data as best he can, but he’s been manipulated by such con artists, as much as many other decent folk have.
It’s easy to see how people can get taken in by these characters with credentials though. I went for a look down the rabbit hole and started lookimg at Yeadon’s claims very early on, and what he initially said made sense. Only when he really got going to it become apparent that he was talking absolute utter bull****. I then had a good look into all these covid commentators, liars and misinformation peddlers, and looking back at a lot of the threads that the more conspiracy theorist posters on here were involved in, the same group of names appear again and again. (People who have since been consistently proven woefully wrong, but haven’t retracted anything, or apologised, or learnt from it, but have deleted evidence instead) It’s awful. Some of these people were all over out mainstream tv at the start, and gained an air of credibility through that, which was completely misplaced. I have to wonder who was facilitating these bad faith actors getting onto mainstream media. The likes of Gupta, Heneghan, Levvitt, Craig, Yeadon, Patton, Kenny, etc
Cases up 10x in a month, and still going, and it's one of the most unvaxxed states in older folk. What's happening in Florida? Haven't seen anything on the news?
What's happening in Florida? Haven't seen anything on the news?
What's the joke?Dude, that’s not remotely funny.
Wasnt Florida the example people were using to take all restrictions away a few months ago when less than half of the population were vaccinated? Looks like things are going well......Cases up 10x in a month, and still going, and it's one of the most unvaxxed states in older folk.

Even on Fox they're saying it's getting bad, and we all know what they're like
Florida county residents asked to limit 911 calls amid COVID-19 surge
Officials from one Florida county are asking residents to use 911 sparingly amid a surge in COVID-19 cases.www.foxnews.com
What's the joke?
All I've seen this morning is the fatal shootings in Plymouth, Amazon moving lord of the rings production to the UK, the Afghanistan situation and news about this weekend's football. It was a genuine question.
Same situation that's happened at different times all over the world, probably just become used to it, I don't know?Apologies Randy, I misunderstood. I thought you’d be aware of the situation in Florida.
It’s grim. Really grim. The GBD gang were shouting from the rooftops about how they’d basically affected policy there. The governor has had multiple meetings with Kulldorf and Bhattacharya and been taking their advice. He’s a big anti-mask, anti-lockdown, covid ain’t so bad type.
Mate, I know you like to look at alternative news on the internet. A very very quick google shows the following results, among many many others….Same situation that's happened at different times all over the world, probably just become used to it, I don't know?
Speaking to friends who live in the Kissimmee area the other day they never mentioned anything other than the traffic is unusually busy for this time of year over there which they believe is a result of the restrictions on international travel, the Americans 'staycationing' aswell. Probably helped spread the cases about.
Yeah exactly, and back then they were being told the same things they're being told now.Wasnt Florida the example people were using to take all restrictions away a few months ago when less than half of the population were vaccinated? Looks like things are going well......
