Our penalty decision was correct.
I do agree with him it was a penalty for them and a sending off BUT when you're up there you get the luck. For 90 minutes we out played them and sent them home in embarrassment

That’s embarrassing!!! The red card for their keeper handling the ball out side of the area? They yellow cards not given to their guys for diving? The hold on Steffen?

I like Paul Ince and want to see him do well.. but that was embarrassing. They had to go for it in the 2nd half and they were punished. We’ve been threatening a result like this for ages.. and there it is.

It wasn't a pen. Long leaned right across, trying to get in front, but was nowhere near the ball when Smith collided with him. Long didn't have the pace to create the chance for himself. The ref got it right in my opinion though I can see that from certain angles you'd think 'Long's through, Smith's behind and he's pulled him down'

Our pen was soft, unfortunate on the lad, but a pen all the same - his arm his way out.

Reading were schooled and Incey is just moaning. Boro legend all the same; loved him as a player.
