The most annoying part about this is that our privacy has gone out of the windows.. phones track and listen and scan private messages searching and selling that information onto third parties for targeted advertising. But now this bill under the guise of internet safety seeks to privatise online communications.. and indeed control what is said and about whom.
An algorithm could easily be applied to prevent online nonces, scam artists and terroirs threats.
The trouble is that the powers that be are a bunch of nonces, scam artists and terrorists!
The big criminal is a bloke sending a private message about meeting up for a coffee or giving away an unwanted football shirt.
