If anybody asks "Well, what ARE Labour policies then?. You can show them this

It is what had been agreed at the Labour Party Conference. I have actually seen all of these before but never in the same place.,
There are a few nebulous statements in there. Would you know where I could get some details? Thanks.

Sounds great... But the first question will be how are they going to pay for it...

The same way the Tories promised and delivered Brexit.

(On the caveat that they still haven’t worked out what to do about the unsolvable Northern Ireland issue).

Supporting workers rights to withdraw their labour?
Abolishing the "right to buy"
Renationalising rail, water, mail and energy?
Ethical foreign policy?
Abolition of tuition fees?
A living Bursary to provide new qualified nurses.
Restore the right to an Armed Forces Pension to all those who have served in the Armed Forces, whether volunteer, reserve or regular.
Abolish the red tape of visas and entry tests for qualified health professionals to work in the UK.
Re-regulation of all local public transport to Local Authorities.
Build a minimum of 100,000 new local authority and social housing properties [per year] to provide affordable homes for our people.
Restore all Tory cuts to Local Authorities.
Pay no interest on loans owed to financiers for NHS Hospitals and Trusts financed under PFI.
Return all Primary and Secondary care to Local Health Authorities.
End all privatisation of the NHS and bring in-house all services currently contracted to private corporations.

I'm glad they've started announcing some policies but even here there's a lot of repetition to pad it out.

"Use sun and wind to reduce energy bills" and then 2 lines down from that "publically owned, renewable GB energy company".

"Invest in warm homes for all, cutting bills", and then 5 down from that "Insulate 19 million homes".

"A green industrial revolution", "plant 300m new trees, and restore existing green sites", "introduce emergency environment act to tackle climate crisis", "£28bn climate pledge" - they're all the same policy.

"Invest £10.8bn in social care, and introduce free personal care", and then 4 down "a national care service".

I'm not complaining (y) it's an improvement on a few months ago although obviously nothing like as transformative as the last few platforms would have been. I just think its a bit pitiful for the party to start crowing look at all our policies with memes that embellish quite a lot.

And of course the whole list has to be caveated with the fact that Starmer's unreliable and untrustworthy. All/any of these policies will be in the bin if that's what Mandleson or a big money donor demand.
