Sorry I didn’t see and reply to this yesterday. Whilst we lost we at least had fight. This England team are just devoid of confidence, energy and purpose. It comes from the leadership - not just Buttler but Mott and the other coaching staff. Yes it’s a tough wicket to play on but India ground out 230.

As mentioned above, they're retiring after this, their last big one. Some of them shouldn't have been selected due to either injury, poor form.or track record abroad. I think we became a little blasé after our world cup win, we're the best, turn up and it's ours.
