I would sack him now tbh

Thankfully those running the club are not as emotional as people on FMTTM.
I have no doubt Gibson is delighted with how recruitment and player development is going. We are not too far away from being self sustainable. That's worth 12million a year to Gibson. And we are doing that whilst challenging for promotion.

He isn't even thinking about making a change to the head coach.

Our home form for 2 years is unacceptable !!

He has a cracking squad at his disposal and yet the same old flaws. The league was there for the taking this year and he has been backed to the hill.

We are not consistent enough and we are incapable of winning 4/5/6/ in a row. There is no hint of a plan b and he is not learning.

Sunderland with little spend and a worse squad are miles ahead of us.

Pullis got pelters for being boring as fcuk at home but least we won games !

Get someone else in this month and we still have a shot of the play offs.
En tenir une couche.

Absolute rubbish . Teams below are catching us up . Carrick can't motivate a team to beat teams near the bottom and the team can't hold on to a lead.
Only problem is who would replace him and if Gibbos happy with him should we rock the boat.

What about last week ?
I've got no clue what them clowns at the back were thinking on that goal but yes, I said after last weeks game that we should sack him.

It's obvious though that they're going to stick with him whilst we're in the position we are in. And if you aren't sacking him after preston how do you sack him after tonight?

Edit: and last week wasn't unlucky, that was sh!te. Tonight was Sunderland calling on whatever god of luck they seem to be able to summon time and time again lol

I want to see the Carrick backers come out strong now & defend him you can't change your view I know he is a total waste of space & will not change my opinion even after a win he keeps waving the team forward.

Ok two OGs tonight so most people looking at the scoreboard would say unlucky but the Mackems were better disciplined and organized I thought tonight, while we struggled for cohesion and to keep hold of the ball. Ultimately it’s all about the players on the pitch. Why was Forss played on the left and why was he left on the pitch for so long is another question?

Giles should have been subbed earlier also as it seemed they were targeting him.

We scored two decent goals but couldn’t follow up. I think it’ll be an uphill struggle for this team now imo. I said after the Pompey defeat I doubted we would make the playoffs but this was a poor performance at home never mind on away turf. Things are not right in the dressing room for me and maybe I speak for a lot of other fans.

Here is where I am at. Why is another bloke getting away Scott free?

Scott puts together the players. We have seen and known for a long while that we concede goals for fun, not just goals, ones that Billy Smarts Clown Circus would be proud of. Carrick reports to Scott, Scott provides Carrick with players to do the job. Of course Carrick has input, but Stevie Wonder could see we have several gaping problems that Scott has failed to remotely address. Scott gets a free run because of Rogers, Latte Lath etc, he has made the club money but failed to put together a team. Clearly some of the issues are on the field tactical issues though and Carrick’s fault.

1. Out of possession we have 3 defenders and Morris, Giles is not much of a defender but he is Carrick’s project this time around.
2. Ayling is over the hill. This RB position has been an issue all season
3. Dropping Fry for Edmundson was a poor decision by Carrick. Signing him permanently was a poor decision by Scott.
4. Scott has not addressed our achilles heel, namely defending from the front, only Morris does this remotely well enough for me.
5. Scott bought largely attack minded players in January to a team that needed steel, selling in the process two players in Lath and Jones who offered that out of possession.
6. The failure to replace Clarke was an absolute joke.
7. Failing to get cover for Morris will prove a mistake.

Carrick is getting pelters, some richly deserved, but lets not take our eye off the ball as to the quality of player he has at his disposal. We are weak defensively at both full backs and wingers that lack effort in tracking back to support them, same with our number 10, that is our achilles heel and someone somewhere between Carrick and Scott needs to realise that the system and the quality of player are at odds and a re-set is needed. Scott and Carrick between them have a big black hole.

Scott is no way getting away Scott free.

Scott has done some very good business, but he's also failed to plug the glaring holes we have in the team.

Start of January we were desperate for depth in CM, a new CB (knowing Clarke was going) and a RB.

We improved on the RW position, LW position, GK position and LB position.

We are worse off up front with the loss of ELL and replacing him was always going to be very difficult because ELL was brilliant (and far too good for us to be honest)

But the sheer fact we've not improved at CB - in fact I genuinely believe we've got worse as I actually think Clarke is a better CB than Edmundson (even though Clarke wasn't good enough neither) and we've not improved the depth at CM. In fact out situation at CM is now worse as we've blatantly hung Barlaser out to be sold...and no one bought him, so our replacement for Hackney/Morris will no doubt have less confidence than he originally had.

January we have improved positions that weren't priority. And we have failed to improve on the positions that were the priority.

At the end of the season MC will have been at the helm for 3 seasons, other than in patches have we actually improved ? It feels like we are definitely going backwards at the moment.
