I would sack him now tbh

Pullis got pelters for being boring as fcuk at home but least we won games !
Oh, the same Pulis that had us in top 5 after GW 35 in his only full season and managed to f up and lose 6 games in a row 4 at home , to leave us finishing outside play offs and essentially leading to Gibbo taking the Derby Chairman to court outside of club matters ? Do you mean that Pulis ( spelt correctly for you ) Please clarify ?

Leeds have a cracking squad, Burnley have a cracking squad, Sheff u have a cracking squad. Ours isn’t as good.

He literally didn’t have a cracking squad available today. He had 1 striker who has worked too much in the last 10 days; 2 midfielders who don’t compliment each other and haven’t been able to be rotated. First two choice goalkeepers unavailable. That’s the opposite of a cracking squad available. We literally got an injury crisis in 4 positions
It's on Carrick that he plays the midfielders who don't complement each other though. McGree and Hackney makes far more sense than Barlaser.

Our home form for 2 years is unacceptable !!

He has a cracking squad at his disposal and yet the same old flaws. The league was there for the taking this year and he has been backed to the hill.

We are not consistent enough and we are incapable of winning 4/5/6/ in a row. There is no hint of a plan b and he is not learning.

Sunderland with little spend and a worse squad are miles ahead of us.

Get someone else in this month and we still have a shot of the play offs.
You seem a little bit obsessed with Sunderland.

McGree is a 10, always has been, he is not an 8, nor a 6. We miss Morris more than anyone other than Hackney even would think. We have Gilbert a proper real 10, Azaz a 9.5, and sadly we have not built a team as such, we have bought good individuals that don’t quite compliment one another. We bought individuals to sell on, they do not automatically make a promotion team, get real.

Anyone arguing that Carrick is doing well this season is deluded. He's not getting enough out of what he has been given. But they're not going to sack him. It will come down to whether others mess up as to whether we get in the play offs.

I think those who are trying to convince themselves it's all down to referees and injuries/fatigue and that we'll still finish comfortably in the top 6 is more remarkable...
I have said that tge officials were dreadful today.. that is a fact.

I also have said that our squad is depleted with long term injuries which in turn is causing fatigue in players.

We are 5th.. I think that is about right if we maintain we will continue at that level.

Promotion means us having a top three squad and as it stands I do not think we have that.

Carrick is still a relatively new manager.. we are seeing a stable base and continual improvement across the board.. this is being done with financial sustainability which in no easy task.

Did you see the players he had at his disposal? The guy was a total blag and had us playing some of the worst football I have ever seen.

Ever thought what he has been given is really 5+4=10

I’d be wary of sacking him given the position we’re in, we made that mistake with Southgate.

We do need to improve, we’ve been lucky in that other sides have failed to capitalise. Hopefully we can plug the glaring midfield problem. Amazed we didn’t bring in another solid CM in the summer.

I stopped reading at ‘backed to the hill’. 🤡

We lack the steel and tenacity to really establish a platform for our creative players to go and win games, especially at home when teams try and spoil.
Away from home when the onus isn't on us we have the ability to pick teams apart, but at home we need to earn the right to play our game and we are just a bit too nice at the moment. All the players we have who you'd think could add a bit of an edge to us are out injured so unless we suddenly develop a nasty streak then we'll have to wait for them to get fit or dip into the market.

That’s the same as any league in any season. You can’t get in the top 6 unless 18 other teams are worse than you.

And I’d say being better than 18-19 other teams isn’t a bad effort. I was never deluded enough to think top 4 in January was the bare minimum.

That’s the same for everyone. The squads for us, Sunderland, West Brom, Watford etc are all very similar and way behind the top 3 squads. You can argue it’s who is the most consistent and who messes up the most, but it’s because the squads are similar ability

I'm not sure that I agree 100% (as it's never been tried so we don't know), but I think it might have been worth giving it the last 15 minutes or so, as Barlaser was so bad and gives us nothing defensively McGree might have been an improvement, or McCabe

McCabe is an attacking midfielder also and not first team ready yet

Christ

Sack MC ??? ,

We're in the January window, already about to lose at least two of our most influential players (by the looks of things) .. and some want a managerial upheaval in the middle of all that too, while we're fifth!??

It would be suicide - kiss goodbye to the top six for starters

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Just see where the season takes us... leave all that business until the Summer
