I think we need to talk about Kevin, sorry Finn Azaz.

He should have went off 20 mins before he did, as usual our manager sat on his hands when the decisions should have been made.
Probably true, but I understand Carrick backing the players too. Those taken off all have match winning ability and can produce it at any moment.

If he was great he would have been snapped up by a Premier League club at his age. We have to remember that. He's a very good Championship player but would be too slow for the Premier League.

You don't have to be a professional or even watch the games. Stats-wise he is our most threatening player this season.
My point is if you watch the games he looks a big threat. The stats back that up. The combination is why opposition managers are targeting him.
I disagree. If you watch the games he looks pretty weak but he gets into (and receives the ball in) positions which bolster his stats even when nothing really comes from it.

Nine shots on target sounds great. Nine shots with no power that curl harmlessly into the keepers arms mean the stat isn't particularly useful.

He reminds me of the lads that play five-a-side and hold onto the ball forever because they can never quite get it out of their feet. When they eventually look up there's nothing on because everyone has made their runs into space and it's all become congested. He needs to release the ball much more quickly to be good enough at this level.

I watch all the matches and do not see him as a big threat at all.
I see Azaz as ponderous and very slow. He wouldn't get near my team from that squad.

So why do you think opposition mangers are targeting him then?
Because, like Barlaser, if you give him time and space he'll find a pass.

If you put pressure on either of them they become largely ineffective and that makes it much harder for us to create chances.

As a comparison, if you tried to man-mark Latte Lath you'd be dragged all over the place and it would have as much of a negative effect on your game as it does on ours.

Targeting Azaz doesn't mean the opposition have to rip up their playbook.
