PD Ports were the defendants, and they won.did he lose.. or has it been found that he simply un-won?
Good response from PD Ports.Statement from PD Ports.
JUDGMENT HAS FOUND IN FAVOUR OF PD PORTS HAVING RIGHTS OF ACCESS IN LEGAL DISPUTE WITH SOUTH TEES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND TEESWORKS. - PD Ports
A judgment has been handed down today, 5th February 2024, by Mr Justice Rajah, in the legal case commenced by the South Tees Development Corporation against PD Ports contending that PD Teesport had no rights of access across the Corporation’s land. STDC’s stance was supported by Teesworks...www.pdports.co.uk
I know those in the PD Ports statement and would believe them every time over Dodgy Ben. Both Jerry and Frans are very decent people, who I have no doubt didn’t want it to go to court.Predictably #BentBen, his wingman #SimonClart and the STDC are spinning this furiously. The STDC statement is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the truth, saying that they didn't want to go to court, but PD Ports forced their hand. In reality Houchen's arrogance and hubris prevented an out-of-court settlement, and it's cost us £5m. Typical Tory, he doesn't care, it's not his money. He gambled on a big win as part of his re-election campaign, followed by a Bob-the-Builder construction cosplay photo op at South Bank Quay. Eat you loser.
North East Bylines doing a far better job than the Gazette, as usual https://northeastbylines.co.uk/judg...ess-in-legal-dispute-with-stdc-and-teesworks/
Not sitting on the fence, then?Predictably #BentBen, his wingman #SimonClart and the STDC are spinning this furiously. I wish Gibbo wouldnt do this.
Him being tory is just wrong, wrong, wrong.
Houchen and Clarke are just typical, slimy tory bast.ards
Good morning grumpyoldgit. The Gazette is falling for #BentBen's spinas usual - "Copenhagen-based developer Ørsted is reportedly due to announce plans this week to build the factory at the UK's largest freeport". NO IT ISN'T. The deal, if there is one, is to build more monopiles at the SeAh factory which is being built at South Bank Quay right now. Ørsted never said that they were building another monopile factory. That simply doesn't make sense, Naomi Corrigan of the Gazette needs to stop copying and pasting TVCA press releases and do the fact-checking that she's supposed to be paid for. And, obvs, this press release is timed to try to bury Houchen's humiliation in the High Court yesterday. We'll give this one a while to see whether it translates into reality. They usually don't.And now the Gazette is reporting huge "potential" investment. Article no doubt dictated down the phone by Ben:
Wind farm developer debunks reports of plans for £100m plant at Teesworks
A spokesman for the company said they were in the process of assessing options for the storage of monopiles destined for east cost wind projectswww.gazettelive.co.uk

I remember as a kid being driven on the old road from Fisherman's crossing to South Gare probably early 50s. It went through the old Warrenby works and you were dodging trains etc. I was terrifiedWe’ve got super Ben Houchen
He knows exactly what we need
Comments are turned off on the article too. Absolutely pathetic.Good morning grumpyoldgit. How Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen uses his media clout to create infrastructure projects out of thin air
