Have you been to a football final apart from the Boro

Plymouth v Darlo third division play off final 1996 (Warnock was managing Plymouth)
Stockton v Thatcham and Brackley v Bromley FA Vase and FA Trophy double header a couple of years ago.

Also went to the all Sheffield semi final at Wembley in 1993, was living in Sheffield at the time and most of my mates were big Wednesday fans, went to quite a lot of games with them round that time, great time to be a Wednesdayite then (similar to us in 96/97) - realised how much the Boro were ingrained in me when my major concern after any Wednesday game was finding how the Boro had got on! Lads all celebrating after the semi final win v United and me gutted because the Boro had been stuffed at Chelsea!

Mate of mine is a Blackburn fan and at the time they couldn't sell all their tickets, so went to see them beat Leicester in the play off final, the year Lennie got us up. Very dodgy David Speedie penalty was the difference. I couldn't have cared less - we'd already gone up.

Later that summer Rippers signed for them which at the time was "why would you sign for a club that only managed to get up through the play offs?". They were champions within a couple of seasons and we came straight back down.
 
Nope. Only been to 2 games that didn't involve the Boro.
Guisborough v Leek Town in the FA cup final because a mate supported them and I worked with Ray Hankin at the time (he was sent off ) and Leeds v Man Utd as a young un because I was desperate to see George Best play.

Me and our lass went to that one too, we were in the next block to the Czech fans.
The atmosphere was brilliant and we joined in with their chanting!
 
Sporting Lisbon v SK Moscow UEFA Cup Final 2005 - Got a ticket in neutral area early on in the competition, just in case.

Neutral area but mainly Sporting Lisbon fans with the 300 or so Russians stuck up in one corner. Once it was clear Russians were going to win ground emptied faster than the stadium of light leaving me and around another 100 boro fans in the stand.

I was at Darlow game too. Was going to talk about the horrible bloke who was beating team I was supporting, in the play offs for the 2nd time in 4 years!
 
2008 UEFA cup final at the etihad. Zenit St Petersburg against Rangers. Andrey Arsharvin ran the show.
I’ve never seen so many drunk people in all my life (Scots) it was like Boro at Trafalgar Square times a hundred in Manchester City centre before the game.
 
St Thomas v Middlesbrough High School - Ayresome Park 1968. Thom's won 2-1 after being 1-0 down at HT. It was the first time I had ever been in a part of the ground that was not the Boys End ( South Stand).
I only got back in there once again- v. Plymouth when I got a free ticket from the reserve linesman who I knew. (1987)
