Has Ameobi been released?

Doubt he was injured, I heard stories of him and Spence. Then Spence went to Forest, Ameobi's old employer. Wonder if he helped facilitate it.

It will be interesting to see where or when he pops up next. I mean if he signs for another side in the next month or so and starts playing or training you'd really have to question what's happened.

Then again if he announces his retirement then clearly its been a career ending injury. He may also pop up as a free agent in October doing a Mendez Lang and things will come out from his new employer.

All very odd. What a waste of money (wages).
