Has Ameobi been released?

Such a strange situation. Really hope we find out the truth at some point, but can't see it. Simply has to be more to it than an injury.

I heard rumours before Xmas that he enjoyed the party lifestyle too much and was randomly selected for a test whilst out injured and he refused to take it. Because it wasn’t an in competition test the efl and Boro have kept it on the quiet! Could be just rumours tho

Wouldn’t surprise me. It’s not like the club to be so weird about him and go on asif he doesn’t exist I mean they haven’t announced they have released him. Defo not an injury

Let's not forget the curious case of Adlene Guedioura.

Disappeared off the face of the earth for over 6 months, with no mention of him from the club, before he suddenly reappeared under Pulis and then we almost immediately ripped up his contract.
 
Not so much as "The club wish him all the best for the future..." on the Boro website.
Mmmmmm..........will be interesting when it comes out what really went on?:unsure:

Same story i got !!!!

Won't be missed , due to the fact he neve rkicked a bloody ball !!!.... curious if he gets another club at any level !!!!
