Has Ameobi been released?

Never EVER a update on his non disclosed injury , what it was , to what part of the body , 2 managers fail to update fans ..as do PR Dept , then he appears released !!!! .....it bloody stinks of a cover up of a ped ban....football does cover it s ar5e !!!!!.....if i am wrong so be it , they encourage speculation with saying b***r all

Didn’t Warnock say he had an injury to his knee? Fluid on it or something like that.

He said he’d had a flare up of something that he’d had before.. but this time it was in the knee that he hadn’t had a problem with. There was a point where Warnock said he would be out for a few weeks, months.. waiting for a fluid build up to go down to take a closer look. Then it was four months.. then he said he couldn’t see him playing for us again.

Yeah I have seen people mention that. One of the Lads on other forum has said he wasn’t there and another poster on there is saying he was. All just guesswork for me

somone pointed out in the video a mysterious pair of legs adorned with white mizuno boots.....that's what Howson wore last season. I've walked through the training video and whoever was wearing those boots was not featured at all. So there was definitely a mystery player there yesterday

Yeah I posted the video up on here after some lad did detective work on twitter. I’d like to think it’s Howson as for me on reduced terms it’s a really good signing for a season.

good squad player, not the kind to strop at being on the bench, probably a good mentor to some of the younger players, and ideal potential future youth coach
 
As for Ameobi, there must be a legal reason why they are not discussing him, it isn't by accident. That could be for multiple reasons, the immediate speculation on here is drugs, and yes that's a possible explanation, but there are plenty of others. If it's an injury either self inflicted (Djeds scooter?!) or caused by a player in training, there could be legal action by the club, or by the player. People are rarely 'sacked' these days, because that leads to legal issues, but they do come to agreements to rip up contracts, with or without compensation and usually with an accompanying gagging order between the parties.

I doubt we will ever know the truth on this, lets see if he gets picked up by another club in the next 6 weeks if he does then it's unlikely just the injury.

Yeah, if he’s been paid off or we’ve had to claim on an insurance policy there could be all kinds of things at play. I think the NML situation surprised many fans from it not being reported firstly and then the ban not being as lengthy as higher profile players.. and the falk of it not being the first time!!
 
I agree with couple others, must be a legal reason his name is totally absent from anything the club sends out, you'd think even within legal boundaries though there was a way they could mention him UNLESS the club themselves do not wish to be mentioned alongside him for some reason?

Nobody will know until he does Undr the cosh in a few years.
