Arctic Monkeys - excellent back catalogue, new stuff is crap
I scrape in at 14, but I know exactly what you mean!! And let’s face it, Cat Stevens, Elton John, Sparks, Blondie and Guns and Roses are 5 of them, and they are all ancient.
This is what makes Spotify so good. I listen to bands I know - many of whom split up years ago - and then based on my history it recommends music I really like from bands I probably never would have heard of otherwise.I read a stat once that said 33 is the average age when you stop listening to new music. I know that sounds about right for me. The majority of things I listen to is old stuff or new stuff from old favourites. If I listen to the radio it is one that caters to my tastes. When I was younger I used to hear new music on Radio 1, in other people's cars or in clubs etc. but not necessarily like them but at least they were recognisable. Now I don't even hear that new music so I don't recognise loads of those names.

‘This Is My Truth’, by the Manics is a superb album.Manics and Texas have been around for a few years too.
I’ve found a lot of new (at least to me) bands recently. They all play the same genre though!I'm 28 and I've found two new bands I enjoy in the last 5 years. It's a struggle haha
Headliners are great. Other than that only Lewis Calaldi I enjoy there.

Unless it's the Sparks I'm thinking of? With the Hitler looking dude on Keys?
