I've got 190 miles or so left so I should be able to ride out the madness just like I did the Covid panic buying.
Strangely enough, I filled up in the Lakes last week just as the initial BP announcement came on the radio. There were queues at that point, not for fuel, but for the cashpoint as their card processing had gone down. Never seen so many people trying to remember their pin number
I suppose in microcosm, panic buying like this will become the norm as the effects of Brexit ripple through the supply chain of everything. Nike have announced something about shortages so no doubt they'll be flying off the shelves soon enough.
It's no wonder we are killing the planet when the selfish 'survival of the fattest' kicks in so easily.
