But this weeks winner is Bri Marwood for comedy value of posting picture of Coronation Street character Len Fairclough. You might not know this but Chris changed his name to Len in later life as he was such a big fan of the programme. 20 FNOM points whatever flavour you choose.

Surely Wiseman_Vaughn should lose FNOM points for his embarrassing 2-2 faux pas.
If that results in a negative FNOM situation then so be it.

Leeds United were reigning League 1 (now Premier League) champs at the time.

Cantona scored the last goal of the game into the Holgate to give the score a respectability for Leeds.

Toward the end Feb 1992 we were still in the semis of the LC and last 16 of the FAC and going for promotion. It would not happen now.

we had a good side back then though with the likes of Ripley, Hendrie, Wilkinson, Slaven, Falconer and the addition of Payton towards the end of the season all chipping in with goals

I seem to remember Cantona getting dogs abuse all game and after he scored I'm sure he stuck the v's up to the Holgate. Obviously it was different world back then so rather than running to nearest copper to complain we just cheered even louder 🔊

I'd moved back to Boro from London and started a new job in Leeds around then.
I remember enjoying Monday morning in the office and then bemoaning how Tommy Wright had once been their player..

Ripley had gone by then. It was the year he came to Ayresome with Blackburn and said he just could not perform

There are two separate seasons being discussed here.
The photo of the Leeds game is from the 92/93 Premier League season.
The Wilkinson facts are from the 91/92 promotion season.

Ripley was here during the promotion season 91/92.
He left for Blackburn in the summer before the 92/93 season.
