Forss Up front until Lath or Coburn are fit

We don't have the options out wide to play him up front right now.

It would have been the obvious choice, but our injuries and lack of reinforcements have made it difficult.

I think Coburn is going to start up front on Sunday. He gave their defenders a hard time at SoL. Forss seems to like coming in off the flank, in a way several strikers do. He gets the goals arriving at the back stick. Maybe he and Azaz can do this with Coburn in the centre. For tomorrow. Got to very much take each game as it comes now with the injuries situation.

Absolutely this. Forss would work hard as a central forward but his game is suited attacking the box from the flanks.

Forss is our only RW - Azaz and Greenwood can both play #10 and LW, but neither are naturally RW.

If Coburn is fit he's guaranteed to start. Forss - Azaz - Greenwood -> Coburn
If Coburn is only fit enough for the bench, it'll probably be Forss - Crooks - Azaz -> Greenwood.

I think Silvera can play RW (although he prefers LW) - So when he's back it might give us the option to play Forss up front.

Do we have any idea when Josh will be fit to start and play at full tilt?

MC suggested he still needed to be "managed" in the last interview - so I assume he plays tomorrow but then misses the next game, or plays the first 60 tomorrow.

I think it'll be a few weeks before he's playing 90 mins consecutively.

If it's a hernia as widely rumoured, I don't think he'll be fully fit at any point this season.

We don’t want to spend?

Do you think we just employ a recruitment team for a laugh?
Josh Coburn is a very talented lad.. tough to bring in someone to fill his boots.

Gotta be better than Latte Lath, Forss, Silvera, Crooks, Gilbert, Matthews..

Who is THAT striker?

Does he have a hernia?
Think it's been reported in some of the media that it was a hernia, but not sure if the club or Carrick have ever confirmed that. Think Carrick said groin injury or something?

So basically we don't know and don't know if he does need an op or not. Just guesswork and rumours as far as I'm aware🤷

I doubt that will happen if Coburn is for enough to start - especially with Jones being out. I would like to see what Forss can do with a run of games as the main striker though as he’s the best finisher we have i reckon
