Comical that Aston Martin want the rules to be changed to improve their car. The same Aston Martin/racing point that all but ripped off the mercs last ( and this year).

Yeah it's daft isn't it: they new the smaller floor rules were coming in, yet they still insisted on copying Mercedes low rake design. Admittedly they kind of have to given the amount of parts they get from Merc.

I do find it sad for Vettel though. He's too good a driver to be in a struggling team.

I genuinely don't know the criteria for getting enough points for a super licence but surely it needs changing if a driver who is practically a menace on track can buy his way to the grid?

i was thinking this too. how long before the FIA have a quick word. this is not karting or "having a laugh driving". he is a danger to the whole grid

He did.

He's not going to last the season. I get Haas aren't developing their car at all this season, saving tokens for the new rules next season but they can certainly upgrade their drivers. He simply doesn't have what it takes plus questions about his character Haas should cut the cord and bring in Illott.

Take away his money and they probably wouldnt exist though. Imagine any other sport when someone could basically just pay for their place in the team, regardless of ability. It really does ruin the sport, especially when someone like Illott cant get a seat.

Mazepin isnt just a poor driver though, he is also dangerous. Expect he will cause something very bad this season

Even sky sports have started trolling him. Just seen the advert for race recap on sky q. When it shows the race highlights screen the first highlight is "Mazepin crash"

Odd one that wasn't it? Not that high speed but that'll have done some damage to the exhaust and gearbox. Which I believe are important.

Kind of lucky it was AlphaTuari at least they'll be able to drive spares from the factory
