For those planning to watch the practice sessions and quali.
Saturday's schedule has been adjusted to avoid clashing with the funeral of Prince Philip.
On-track sessions have been moved forward an hour, with qualifying now starting at 14:00 local time (13:00 BST) and final practice at 10:00 BST.

Friday practice has also been moved as a result, to comply with regulations demanding specific gaps between sessions. The first hour-long session will be at 10:00 BST and the second at 13:30.

Thanks I’m looking forward to this to see how good all the cars really are as don’t forget the mercs quali 2 and 3 so are they really having a wobble.

Saturday will be the key day again here. Funny isn't it a couple of tracks, this one and Monaco have a pretty iconic status in the formula 1 world yet, for wheel to wheel racing, they are both awful

Wasn't last seasons race around here quite good?

Monaco - I agree with you. F1 outgrew that track a long time ago.

Not the most exciting as I recall.

Monaco is an interesting one isn't it? It's become part of formula inspite of itself.
There is a great video about the 10 worst f1 tracks:
Las Vegas and its crumbling car park track
Nurburgring for being too long and too dangerous
The twin Monza, where they used the modern track and the old bowl together, with the one issue that cars had to go both up and down the main straight, and my favourite AVUS berlin: which started as a couple of 7 mile stretches of motorway connected by an insanely banked curve.

Anyway, they have Monaco on that list. As you say it's entirely unsuited to modern formula 1 cars and it's only really there because of it's traditions

I'm assuming you mean the full length nurburgring and not the GP track?

Actually out of these there are a few I'd love to see back on the Calendar.

The Nurburgring Nordschleife and Pescara definitely but I guess they are both top long.

Also AVUS and the double Monza layout just because they are bizarre.

Sorry I know I've gone wildly off topic.

I would like to see a F1 car do a demo run around the Nordschleife, just for fun. If they raced there - overtaking would be impossible apart from down that massive straight. Most WTCC races around there are dull dull dull.

If you are brave enough you can overtake on the either one of the carousel corners, well at least you can on Forza and Gran Turismo 😎

That would be good. They ran a BMW round there in 2007 and even back then it caused problems. Because the car can't function without all it's telemetry back to the pits and because the track is so hilly and long, they lost the signal. They had to follow the car round in a helicopter to relay the telemetry back to the pits. That would be interesting if a GP ever took place there. 20 choppers vying for position above the track!
