Nottingham Forest have made a £10million bid for Middlesbrough winger Marcus Tavernier. He also has a bid on the table from Premier League rivals Bournemouth and both clubs are waiting on Boro.

I like tav overall......he's got talent....but....he's been a slow burner....really slow....he has been frustrating overall when you look back at his time....last season was clearly his best season by a long way...but before that I would have been happy to Try another route
I don't know whether we should preserve him or let him go....10 million seems light ish....

If they’ve actually offered, I think others will get involved and a bidding war will commence. No way Tav leaves under the same circumstances as Spence ie only one interested party. I’d like to keep him but if the money is right?

Not a great move for Tav to be honest when we could be swapping places with Forest in a years time anyway.

For me he gives it one more year and puts himself in a great bargaining position next Summer

I like Tav. I don't agree with the may haters. He's young and the first name on the team sheet.

Could he score more? YesCould he have more assists? Yes

Yet with 2 years left and a few quid I dont think he can't be replaced.

10mil seems a bit low. Yet 12-15 and you'd say it's again decent money for a player who cost nothing (like Spence).

We seem to be making a few quid at the mo. It's longway from letting Britt / Fletcher and Sav leave for next to nothing.

Understand Leicester are after him?
Would give Trees a miss and Bournemouth.
Leicester are a more settled Premiership club, whereas Trees are new boys and will be looking to finish in 17th.
Bournemouth would be a waste of his talents.
If he was to go, then £15M + his remaining 2-year contract up front please

Think they missed off part of that last sentence. Surely it should read "both clubs are waiting on Middlesbrough to stop laughing".

Think it's £15m for us to even start thinking about it.
