First time you had a Donner Kebab?

When I lived in Sheffield, 90s..kebab pizzas….donner dellas were a thing…still around?

Mate Ive been sat on the sofa all night watching repeats of Peep Show on demand. Can I be arsed gettting my coat on and going down the kebab shop….

Well yes. I’ll post a photo of the kebab shortly.
Uber eats…

Don’t recall my first Doner Kebab.

I do love a proper chicken / shawarma kebab though. When I go to Benidorm, they’re always my usual end of night food!

Chili garlic and salad. Awesome! 🤤

Donner meat is pure filth.

Which is a big positive after a skinful.

Don't ever save any for the morning after though.

Prefer a Gyros these days.

I woke up in bed, cradling the cold unopened, neatly wrapped, paper package in the crook of my arm.

They are better when homemade and you know what’s in it, get your meat of choice and blend it with onions chillis and herbs and spices. Get the ground meat and shape into a large cylinder and wrap in foil. Air fry or oven cook for around 25 minutes depending on thickness, removed and slice thinly wrapped in whatever bread product your like.

Whenever I make this I use chicken breast and 20% beef mince, delicious.

I am diabetic, I once had a doctor telling me that a chicken kebab was one of the healthiest things I could eat, as long as chicken was grilled and didnt include mayo. I did think it was strange advice, but has made me think about low carb foods.
Otherwise first donner was oh holiday in Corfu on an 18-30 holiday in the early 80's.

Hi everyone this is Roy Cropper - yes I know i look like Mrs Slocombe but I’m not really.

Anyway my takeaway has arrived and it seems that I ordered an extra large tray of kebab meat. So that it met the minimum order for delivery. I thought I was ordering a kebab with all the salad and sauce.

Half of it’s in the bin anyway.

You can all take the moral high ground now.
