First Test - India v England

Interesting session that. Our seamers have done well, but India have come back well and now Leach seems a bit rattled by Pant's counter attack

Loving Simon Hughes, 'the anaylst' and his shield field tactics board 😁 Just goes to show that you don't need all those fancy graphics that Sky have.Screenshot_20210207-090724.jpg

Only started watching 30 mins ago. Who took a liking to Leech.

Guessing after watching that over Pant.

A good day for England, shame Archer didn't take that catch.. Will be an interesting day tomorrow especially if we get early wickets.

Tricky decision for Root (not enforcing the follow on), but on balance I think he's done the right thing batting again first. I can't see India getting under 300, our bowlers will be knackered and chasing anything over 100 will be tricky the way Ashwin is turning it now.

So how many are we going to need here?

It might seem excessive but I'd want 450. Get a quick fire 160 and put them in for a tricky hour or so before then end of play.

I think we want at least 400 now we have batted again. Look like we'll be wanting a quick fire fifty from Stokes or Butler?

Stokes, root and buttler still left. They’ll probably look to get 100-150 quite quickly and then put India in for the last hour of the day
