The film is just about his time in charge of Ireland, not a life story.

There is a decent bit about the Boro, usual footage of him on the pitch collecting tracksuits, him and Bobby talking outside the office after a pitch inspection, training on the moors, and mucking about with the players in the changing rooms.

I got the DVD for Christmas, not got round to watching it yet. Is there much / any mention of Ashington at all?

I have quite a few photo albums full of Boro press photos but not one of big Jack in a Boro strip
I'm sure I seen one many, many years ago, could have been the gazette when he played in a couple of reserve games, would love a photo of him in a Boro kit

Yes he played a few matches in the 74-75 Australian tour, Tony Greens testimonial & a couple of reserve games during 73-74 season, if you have the programmes from 73-74 season it lists the reserve match teams with big Jack in names twice

It was mentioned on the TV the other day

I always look back with fondness to that date 1975, we beat Burnley 2-0, the day after losing to Man City 2-1 on good friday, a game I went to, minus a bus window on our return home, anyway, the Burnley win on the 29th put us 4th & talk of genuine challengers to win the league, sadly not though
