I suppose the only reason to be slightly nervous is due to our form but I am very confident of a good display tonight and 3 points to kickstart our season in gear. First clean sheet and a 2-0 win with Muniz amongst the goals. Let’s go!

Bit nervous, not because we're not better, just because players might be lacking a bit of confidence or disheartened by what's happened previously.

I want us to keep it tight for the first 10 or so, if we're feeling a bit dejected, as that should soon wear off, then our class should take over. Hopefully the players are still in high spirits though, and really get up for the derby game, I'm sure they will when they see the crowd.

I'm going 2-1, all goals in the second half, with us leading by 2 and them getting one back. If we go 1-0 up first half, I don't think they'll get back into it, and we'll take them apart.

Will be good as they won't sit back, and nor should they with what they have up front, but this should play into our hands.

Genuinely nervous, got that awful sinking feeling. Sunderland have got nothing to lose, we're the favourites, our form is dreadful, Sunderland come into the game with some good form, new manager bounce, the new manager is TONY MOWBRAY, folks feel let down with us not bringing in those promised BIG PLAYERS towards the end of the window.

Ive mentioned on here Diego the second that Watford goal went us fans were dejected & TBH, we've been on a bit of a downer since, in typical football fashion, the lower we've felt the better Sunderland appear to be

Hopefully we have everyone available from the Watford game & can put that disapointnent behind us

Not sure why the Akpim injury is taking so long to overcome
