I'm watching the Roma v Feyenoord game. The first goal was scored by Italian who has become the youngest Italian to score in a European final, since my favourite Italian player - Alessandro Del Piero.

Who is your favourite? There's many many to choose from.
 
When I think of Italy, I think of defenders, and I don't think there are any other countries where I automatically do that.

I suppose it goes back to the late 80s/ early 90s greats and the likes of Baresi and Maldini. Festa has to be up there as a favourite, but I also like the old cynical masters of the dark arts that won them the Euros last time out.

I never quite got the buzz around the likes of Baggio, Vialli and del Piero.

was always a big fan of this guy, and also Conti was it?

An Del Piero, had a juventus top with his name on it a few years ago
 
I was a fan of Ravanelli before he signed for us, I have a memory of watching footy italia and he was playing for Juventus wearing a cast or sling after getting in some kind of altercation with some ruffians, what a guy. Festa probably pips him as my fav Boro Italian after how it all ended though.

Non Boro has to Francesco Moriero, not sure what originally made me notice him but I always like a good winger.
