I mean a Vodka one.
Champagne, gin and lemon juice.I don't know what this is but it's six more than a French 69, so must be good?

That actually sounds very drinkable! On the Isle of Arran last year I had the local pre-dinner speciality cocktail. Absolutely devastating:
One measure of bacardi
One measure of vodka
One measure of cointreau
One 330ml can of Irn Bru
Plenty of ice

There's not many cocktails I don't like, am partial to a Caipirinha mind. I can't manage to make them properly at home though, have nearly drunk myself to death trying![]()
After my experiences in Brazil, it sounds like he's making them perfectly tbh!!Old fashioned to sip, a zombie for effect
Where are you going wrong when you make them? They're one of the most basic ones to make at home so should be fairly easy. Do you have cachaça, and a mudler?
Brazil is the only place I've had one's that are really good, tried them in other places and they're just not right, it's obviously because everywhere but Brazil uses a sensible amount of Cachaça :pI do like a caipirinha, but be warned, you take your life (and your liver) in your hands if you order one in Brazil! (although I had a passionfruit one there that tasted amazing).
The Artisan do do a good Old Fashioned and they also do a rum based one that's quite close to an OF but I can't remember the name of it. They also have a very persuasive barmaid who gets you to buy more of what you're drinking.Old fashioned, the Artisan in Linthorpe is particularly good
Espresso Martini too.
This drink was recommended to me by a spanish barman as a hangover cure! For those espresso martini fans on here, try a Carajillo if you've not had one before.
