Favourite cocktail?

Does a Baby Guinness count as a cocktail? Comes as a shot but I could definitely drink a bigger one.

Now that I'm getting a bit older I can avoid people trying to get me to do horrible shots by having a Baby Guinness instead.

Old fashioned to sip, a zombie for effect 😂

There's not many cocktails I don't like, am partial to a Caipirinha mind. I can't manage to make them properly at home though, have nearly drunk myself to death trying 😵

Where are you going wrong when you make them? They're one of the most basic ones to make at home so should be fairly easy. Do you have cachaça, and a mudler?

I do like a caipirinha, but be warned, you take your life (and your liver) in your hands if you order one in Brazil! (although I had a passionfruit one there that tasted amazing).
Brazil is the only place I've had one's that are really good, tried them in other places and they're just not right, it's obviously because everywhere but Brazil uses a sensible amount of Cachaça :p

Old fashioned, the Artisan in Linthorpe is particularly good
Espresso Martini too.
The Artisan do do a good Old Fashioned and they also do a rum based one that's quite close to an OF but I can't remember the name of it. They also have a very persuasive barmaid who gets you to buy more of what you're drinking.

My favourite is a classic, a Mai Tai.

Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz White rum, 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice, 1/2 oz Orange curaçao, 1/2 oz Orgeat syrup, 3/4 oz Dark rum.

Preparation: Shake all ingredients except the dark rum together in a mixer with ice. Strain into glass and float the dark rum onto the top. Garnish and serve with straw.
