FAO Rob_FMTTM - Spurs & Chelsea Tickets

I would not like to be the Ticket Office manager today, it must be in chaos. Do you sell tickets to the away end or don't you.
You don't until the situation becomes clearer with regards the Chelsea situation.....
And that's why you're not the ticket office manager 😜

A couple of points after reading the posts above.
Firstly I think the club have done a good thing with the prices for this match - we have all raised issues with high ticket prices in the past.
Second - There are some very good points about fans with points not being able to get a ticket. Surely the club will have done the maths here and worked out how many season tickets would probably buy an additional one and those who had points so that there were enough tickets to go round?
Lastly - I don't know how many season ticket holders there are but lets not think all of them are on here, so the club need to get opinion from all season ticket holders to enable them to make the correct decision.

And for info - I cant make this game so i didn't buy any tickets so hopefully everyone who wants one will get one.

Interesting about Chelsea not being able to sell tickets now - will this mean they have to return some?

Well my 2 additional tickets turned up today but not the season ticket seats, even though I asked for all tickets to be posted…..😔

I think it’s clear that demand for the Spurs match wasn’t as high. Tickets should have been available today for people with priority points but they’re not because there’s none left. I feel for people with 50+ points not getting a chance but SC holders like me could take someone who’s never set foot in the stadium before. Let’s see how many more become available on Sat, I hope everyone with PPs gets a chance of a ticket

Exactly this Nobby. I don't personally know a single person who regularly attends that didn't get a ticket. I don't recall anyone mention it on here either.
Just because it was done for the Spurs game doesn't make it right, as Spurs was a Tuesday night so perhaps there was less demand.

How is a season ticket holder being allowed to purchase an additional ticket a fair way of distributing the tickets?

ST holders deserve all the benefits they get, but if they are allowed to buy an additional ticket are you not running the risk that existing ST holders could also potentially miss out on the opportunity to purchase a ticket (I'm not sure how may ST holders we have so not sure if this is a possibility).

As a comparison, Forest are allowing one ticket per ST for their tie against Liverpool, which just seems right to me.
