At Ayresome v Aberdeen Anglo- Scottish Cup Quarter-final first leg.16th September ‘75. Won 2-0. It was a small section of the Clive road terrace next to the usual corner terrace. Attendance 13,965

Been in The Leazes End
Solano missed a last minute pen which helped us stay up - got a bit rowdy when me an my brother jumped up

Stadium of Light next to Boro fans
Emersom scored one of his beauties. I stupidly just turned to the Sland fans behind me and said that’s what happens when you shout racist abuse.
left the game shortly after on the advice of a steward

The Kop, Anfield, about 1988. We played really well but lost 3-0 to an outstanding Liverpool team. I think Peter Davenport had one of his better games and possibly hit the bar. Locals were friendly and one passed me his hip flask when the third goal went in. Wonder if they'd have been as welcoming if we'd won?

Went in the Clive road corner loads before it was strictly away only. Felt sorry for away fans getting battered by the Clive road riot squad.
Been in the home end all over place for non Boro games. But is that what the OP is referring to?

Vs Luton for the last ever game, but officially Luton gave us tickets back so was the home end, but it did mean I’d done every end at AP.

‘Owt you like North, I was just enjoying the stories 🙂 non boro for me: leazes end, north bank, Brighton and scunny v Wednesday had a half in each end, walked round the back of the main stand.

Was in the corner away end for a friendly against Seattle Sounders. Must have been some time between 86 and 89. Can't remember exactly.

Home stands at away matches 😗
The Kop for Ian Rush's last match. No worries.
West Ham. Upton Park, I was slightly jittery 😁 Travelled on the tube with the locals as well and was keeping me head down.

Yes. Last season. Came up for Peterborough game with my mate who is a Posh fan. Seemed a bit pointless doing a 400 mile round trip to sitting (well stand) in opposite stands. Did the same for that 5-0 cup game a few years ago when I drove up with another mate and my brother.

Posh are my second team so it probably doesn’t count though.

Against Everton when we won 4-2 and Juninho scored two second half goals.

Times I've been in the home kop at an away game.
73/74 Sunderland.
73/74 Aston Villa.
74/75 Leeds (for a few minutes - along with hundreds of others)

Ok.
In the 80's(non Boro games) went in the..
Shed at Chelsea, surprisingly subdued,
Holte end at Villa, huge kop, great atmosphere (they were riding high),
The Gelderd end, mental, at one game the lads at the back were throwing kids on to the crowd lower down,
Wolves(dead)
West Brom, decent kop end/atmosphere
Spurs, decent atmosphere
With Boro, at Newcastle and Sunderland, several times, both uncomfortable experiences, but better than not going.
In the 70's my Dad took us in the seats at St James. Just as well, loads of bother in the Gallowgate below. Similarly he took me into to the side terrace at Joker park. Boro fans in the Roker end were getting terrorised by the local boot boys.
Oh and I was in the Chelsea end for the Zenith data. Wasn't living on Teesside, couldn't get at a Boro ticket. Brother in law is a Chelsea fan. Without doubt the most awful set of fans I have ever come across. On the plus side the sight and sound of the Boro end was something to behold, and it really wound up the Chelsea scum!

Where you amongst the Boro fans led out of the Gelderd end?

I've not watching the Boro. Although definitely would.

Although randomly I once sat in the away end at Old Trafford. To watch Forest in the FA cup (a quick Google reminded me it was 1989). Forest won 0-1 with Garry Parker scoring (again thanks Google). My sisters new fella supported Forest and had a spare ticket. Still think it's a bit random😂

Davenports away debut

I was in the away end when Wilko scored, as he raced towards their goal I gripped the barrier as tight as I could telling myself to NOT celebrate, geordies stood behind me were saying he wont score he's useless, bang goal 😁 I was bursting inside but crazily just stood motionless

Working in london at the time so less hassle going in home end on my own. West ham 1989. Slave scored twice late in to win. Home fans weren't happy. Hard to keep a straight face. Also playoff game at Chelsea. Left straight away at end to get train home so missed the riot
