Do the death counts run January to December?

If so why wasn't the number started again and why haven't they focused on excess deaths from 2020 etc. Or have I missed that somewhere?
 
All three of them looked shell shocked to be honest. Chris Whitty had difficulty stringing a sentence together.

You've missed something. You've missed103,000 death certificates up to ten days ago. It'll be more than 10,000 greater than that now.

Excess deaths are usually used by the ONS across years to estimate flu deaths in a flu season. Always across two years.

Yeah I know we're at Covid death x but just wondering at what point it switches from an excess death for 2020 to a stat for 2021?
 
BloJo has missed a trick. I'm surprised they haven't tried putting 2020 behind us and moving on with the death count starting from Zero at the start of the year.

Where are the flags and Farage? Where are the duplicitous liars, chameleons and fellow travelers we allowed to dupe our fellow citizens?

For all the good we have in our country, we have been treated with contempt and over a hundred thousand people are no longer with us. Those left grieving are told "we are doing the best we can" - but the tears of the children, without a Mum, a Dad, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Neighbours, Teachers, Nurses and the other victims, are drying on the faces with the heat of anger.

Their "best" is at the expense of filling the graveyards and the crematoria.
How much longer before they can no longer ignore the peoples voices?
