Baked beans are made in America. But when I asked the internet it said that Americans don't eat beans on toast. If anyone knows an American can you check with them whether this is true and why don't they eat beans on toast because I don't trust the internet.

No idea, but came here to say that I love some grated cheese and tuna on mine, finished with lashings of tobasco sauce.

When I was travelling to UA, the woman I was driving thought I was mental by saying, put some crisps in your sandwich. I now have a convert! These people need to try our UK delicacies :D

US baked beans are nothing like ours, and so much sweeter than a tin of Heinz. They're nice with some BBQ meats and a side of Mac 'n' Cheese, but wouldn't taste right served on some horrible American bread (also sweeter than ours).

I used to pay around £3-4 per tin of Heinz beans when I lived in the US, along with a couple of quid on a double decker, Turkish Delight, tube of fruit gums or a tin of mushy peas - I basically kept the British section of the local Molly Stones going.

like almost everything in a US supermarket, they are processed to within an inch of their life. I worked for US foodservice for a couple of years and Iowa Beef producers for a year, and can safely say their food standards are shocking. If you can pay a politician enough money he''ll get food standards changed to allow you to sell honey glazed turd
