You'll struggle to see a worse performance than that in a boro shirt this season.

How many more chances is this lad going to get? Consistently poor for a long time now.

The thing I can't get my head around is people on here are still going to defend him even after watching that earlier. "he's still young", "he's a good athelete" etc etc.

He's absolutely nowhere near good enough. There's nothing in his game to suggest he's going to progress anywhere close to the level some people on here predict.

I agree he has been awful but when he was playing well a few seasons back he was playing right back with a winger in front of him. Seems better running from deep when he can get his legs going. Didnt he get a couple of goals too.

Hes never a winger doesnt have the quality. Pointless bringing him on today.
 
I'm not hammering the guy. Yet he was poor and actually deserved to be subbed. He kept losing possession and no end product.

I was shouting at the TV to get him off knowing he was a sub.

I'm not writing him off but he's definitely gone backwards and comments from Warnock in the past about his application etc are pretty damming (he could be prem or none league). I think Fisher is a far better option.
 
He's 20 so can't write him off. It doesn't distract from the fact he deserved to be subbed.

If nothing else it was to get more goals and creativity on the pitch (I'm sure that's what the gaffer told him).

To be honest the only 3 players who have failed to improve under Warnock are Spence / Coulson and Wing. I'd be suprised if any of them are here next season. We bought Fisher and he publicly said 'we need a RB'.

Think that says it all (just like he said we need wingers when we had Roberts).

Exactly and he thinks he's the finished article.

Needs to play every week, 90 minutes, it ain't working whatever he's doing at the moment. A loan spell next season will probably do wonders for him. His agent will probably try organise a move away permanently.
He's simply not good enough at the moment and offers us very little. Fisher is streets ahead of him.

Hi. I’m not one of these people pretending to be in the know. But I am close to a relative of a current player. I’m obviously not naming him. But I understand from talking to his relative that that Warnock does not like Spence’s attitude in training. Thinks he’s a bit big time. I have to agree he’s not good enough. And today he was minging.
