Digital season card passes at the riverside stadium

RL - I would have thought your grandad could have an alternative method such as card or paper ticket, but someone will need to communicate with the ticket office. I know its all very rushed, I suspect over 20% of fans will not have the right technology or not want their season ticket in the way the Club have defaulted to. My fairly recent smart phone has not the right technology from what I can make out.
You have the option to keep your physical card.

I have never dragged this up?

Do you work for the club?
He means there was a massive thread about it that lasted over a week - someone from the club communicated with me and told me lots of answers to points on the original thread. But the main message was it would not affect anyone yet except new season ticket holders. And it will be a very gradual and fully tested stand by stand change.

Don't disagree, but RL's grandad has an issue that needs resolved over the next few days.

I think it woud be useful for fans affected to know what the alternatives actually are before the Millwall game. The Club must have a definite plan for alternatives.

Are you sure you received this advice from the club?
It is black and white on the digital marketing form, bullet point 2, which says verbatim:

“ pay as you go smart phones can be purchased from high street retailers for a little as £35”.

Who signed that off on the form the year 7 work experience kid?

Just posted it above chap.
Dont look like any alternative to me. (n)

To me this sentence is inaccurate (if posters are correct) but has been sent out to a lot of fans (new and chnagers), according to Redlips.

"You will not be receiving a physical card, but rather a digital Season Card which will be kept within the wallet of your mobile device."

Response to requesting a non digital card…

If you are emailing a general enquiry/ticketing enquiry your email will be forwarded to the appropriate department or person and will be responded to within 10 working days.

So you could get a response a week after the first game.

It is if your 88

Which not all of our fan base are, so are you suggesting we base all decisions on your 88 year old granddad? Indeed you've advocated for someone to be sacked because your 88 year old grandad wasn't the only person considered in this decisions.

Also for about the hundreth time - He wont be forced into having a digital ticket !

Or you could get a response within an hour as well. The clue is in the word "within"

Not likely, even new season card holders will be given time and no-one else is affected that soon.

RedLips - Please keep us up to date with response times. Lets hope its quick.

The ticket office have potentially created a lot of work for themselves 8 days before Kick Off.
