Darts

Pretty sure his ass will fall out when he meets someone decent But TBH I have not seen anyone light it up yet.

Doing what they usually do building someone up like Sherrock and just waiting for the spectacular fall

What schools are open over xmas? (Thickos who think they are funny dressed as super mario or what ever)

He left in August apparently. Wonder if he has any knowledge of 2 world wars and a world cup .. ouch! (I bet we havent heard the last of that)

Wonder if who has any knowledge of 2 world wars and a World Cup? Littler or Williams?

Are you mixing players up?

The video is of Scott Williams who left school about 18 year ago as he’s nearly 34 🤣

What a Doyle comment to make though.

Littler just won easy and went for a Kebab 😆

Sorry Littler being 16 (just referring to his age depends whether he took History as an option or has any interest in international football) .. Williams will get fined for those comments no doubt by Hearn

Has armchair interest replaced playing the game?

None of my local pubs has a team.
There are a few local leagues in Boro. A Sunday league and the usual club league that I know of. Then Maltby darts league on a Thursday.

I must admit, most teams are mainly dominated by lads who are around retirement age or older. It’s nowhere near as popular as it once was (according to the older lads in my team). You don’t actually see many people playing casual pub darts these days. They do in my local but they’ve got a proper darts set up. Most places don’t or even have a board up.

You do wonder what the leagues will look like in 15-20 years time if younger lads (or lasses) aren’t playing.

There are still leagues and other tournaments including women and youths with some very good players but most regular players are 40+. From what I see, most of the younger players these days have dads or uncles playing competitions and pick it up that way.

Glen Durrant was very involved in getting local competitions going for a while before he won his world titles and has brought a lot of good players up to play in them.
