It needed to be said. I am so pleased this has happened. As it is balance against the Tory propaganda that Kuenssberg spreads on a regular basis.I firmly believe he should have resigned or be fired and so do the majority of the public. However this breaches all impartialty rules. The BBC has already stated that the Government's message will not be heard until he does, a very thinly veiled threat. There is increasing desperation among journalists, and the BBC in particular, that they are being denired their "Kill" over the story. He is a very unlikeable man who clearly has no time for those attacking him, but the ferocity of the attack has gone way beyond the norm perhaps because they perceive he is the driving force behind moves to reform the BBC.
I know of one example of how someone is feeling about this. This from my cousin's wife. From Facebook yesterday. For reasons of privacy I have removed names.Of course it needs to be said. And if Oldman it soundss “desperate“ to you maybe take into account the desperate lives that many have had to endure under lockdown and get a grip of the sense of anger that exists. Its not about journalists getting a “kill”
The same could be said for Johnson. Those who think Cummings should stay in role need to sit in a corner and think, until they reach the same conclusion as the rest of us.
Do you think Kuenssberg has been impartial? I think not on many occasions. She is almost a Tory party spokesperson. It needed to be said and what she said is true but not in her role as an impartial bbc presenter
Reasonable people can have differing views though and I'm sure Emily is very reasonable, despite her ignoring or taking a different interpretation of the guidelines on impartiality. It needed to be said and what she said is true but not in her role as an impartial bbc presenter
Just to be even handed LK should also be suspended. She's been reprimanded and replaced for tonight's programme.
