Hey @motownjunk, good to hear from you. Thought someone had nicked your keyboard lol. How's things?Another vote for Marc riley and Lauren Laverne. Don't mind any of the 6 presenters but Craig Charles and cerys Matthew's probably my least favorites.
And on this morning's show, Robert Elms has Shaun Keaveney as a guest. They are trolling us now.Yeah I know, I have the misfortune of belonging to the Robert Elms Appreciation Society (REAS) group on Facebook. They make this messageboard look a bastion of common sense and civility. You'd think the changes were designed specifically to upset them all personally.
The overlooked Gideon Coe needs a mention on this thread too. Really eclectic taste, some great live concerts and I love his themed shows (Tour De France, Autumn etc). Something good to fall asleep too, something I haven't had since Mark & Lard's Graveyard shift in the early to mid 90's.
Used to be in Humph's band IIRC.Never heard his show…but I do know his dad, Tony. One the best musicians ever to come out of the UK.
With his background it’s not surprising he has wide eclectic music taste
Hate to say it but he (Keaveney) came across well. And on this morning's show, Robert Elms has Shaun Keaveney as a guest. They are trolling us now.
He's sitting in for Robert Elms on BBC London this morning. I'll give him another chance.Hate to say it but he (Keaveney) came across well.

Heh! Perhaps I'm being naive but I wasn't aware of him making a fuss personally, but his listeners did.Given how much fuss Elms made about his move to 3 days a week, he doesn't half take some holidays.
Indeed. I'm usually doing other things anyway so I hardly hear him these days.I listened to Robert Elms for 20 years, just can’t get on with him being on at the weekends.

Same for me so it's an instant switch off.Although I am not a soul fan Craig Charles clearly loves it and has a great radio presence... he has a 70s DJ feel about his style ....
Elms isn't on until 12 today instead of 10 so it looks like he's taking part in the strike. Good on him.He made a few barbed comments, but yes the majority was the listeners.
