The reason that these measures are put in place is to keep the death rate as low as 5 a day, look at what happened earlier in the year, this virus has the potential to go from a few deaths to over a thousand a day in a very short space of time. How can that be so difficult to understand?
What you are saying may indeed happen if we get this wrong.
Some are saying the premise that because it happened before it doesn’t mean it will happen again.
And, they have evidence to support that.
None of us know and for anyone to take a position of certainty in either direction is basically taking a bit of a punt.
For sure I’d be planning for the worst in this case but have to be careful what measures are put in place.
