Im relaxed with this. If he reneges on a 'handshake' with warnock to sign and then doesnt. Then better off without that type. Even warnock said that sometimes just got to let fate take over. Not as simple as that. He apparently speaks good english, might even be a bit of an anglophile. He might be a prem league fan and see this as a way of getting there. Personally I find Serie A in recent years dull.

Cagliari are on a hiding to nothing, they won 9 games last year and squeaked survival. In the last 18 months and 60 games they've won 12 matches. It would be a very tough situation for him to move up to. With us, he would be in the side pretty much every match, and likely in a winning side. Gunning for promotion is for more fun than just trying to survive and hope that a big team sees enough in your losing performances to take a chance.
