Gibson has put pretty much the max in every year that he’s allowed. The last few years we’ve spent the majority of what we’ve earned. There’s no way we sell players and only spend half of it 😂

We have to be realistic and accept that at least one of our top assets will be sold this summer.

It will be sad to see him go but if I had to choose which player to sell it would be Hackney. We have finished the season very strongly without having him in the side. Not that I'm in any way suggesting we are a stronger side without Hackney, but the evidence is there that we can perform well and win games without him.

If Hackney is sold it should hopefully mean the club can justify turning down big money offers for Lath, who has been key to our turnaround in form, and could be key for us next season.

VDB is also a must keep in my opinion, as I believe he could either be a future captain for us in the Premier League, or a player we could make a sizeable profit from if we sell him in a few years time. I could see clubs being willing to offer £30+m for him, whereas I'm unsure whether Hackney will get to that level.
 
FFS, I hope this isn’t the rubbish we have to read in the summer, Hackney is going nowhere, he’s been injured for 3 months, his value was at a peak when he scored the winner in the SF against Chelsea it’s been on the wane since. West Ham haven’t even got a manager for next season never mind transfer policy. Boro WILL sell Hackney, but only when they can maximise his value and that won’t be this summer

The "word" coming out of London is just a regurgitation of the same, solitary piece of speculation from 'The Red'.

I really don’t buy this Hackney being injured for 3 months with a so called twisted knee syndrome. Not sure can on the bench for the final home game — sounds ominous.

The usual suspects are now talking about it as if it's a done deal, so looks like I'm about to be surprised.

Why do we have to sell this summer ? We've just brought in a large chunk of cash for Rogers and Crooks,let's keep all our best players and go for it this season
 
1) McGree wants away
2)Forss wants London move
3) Hackney off to westham

It’s rumour time and the first one seems to of been quashed now hopefully forss is settled .
Hackney is needed for the future and not just next season. I doubt hel be shouting for a move .
I suppose it’s probably a good time to give the internet a miss for a good month but we do seem to be on the ball since January with crooks being a surprise exit and other lads doing extended deals .
