We paid what his was worth at the time. Not too many complaints when we signed him. In fact there was quite a buzz about him

Cobblers. Mido got a 4 year contract and played just 25 games in that period before he saw out his contract with various loan periods. Eventually went on a free. God knows how much of those wages we had to pay out in his loan deals but don’t talk about Mido being better value. He absolutely wasn't. Mido is without any semblance of doubt the worst pound for pound signing in our history.
 
It was always known that the level of Mido’s wages on the Club in the period 2007-11 was a major factor in us not being able to bring in better players in the post relegation years. He was on a monstrous wage ( we outbId Birmingham and Sunderland to grab him in a shocking panic decision) and it would as a Premier League player been far more than Britt’s current salary.
 
Id love to be a fly on the wall when Neil tells his captain he's benched on Saturday, now Chuba is fit. Britt is a dreadful striker, although I agree he put a shift in last night. He's not brave enough to be a top goalscorer. You need to be prepared to put your foot (or head) in where it hurts. He's decent in instinctive scenarios, but when bravery or brains are required, he comes up short. If we get another striker in, I can see him seeing out his contract on the bench

He should be relieved of the Captaincy immediately after the free kick farce and like you say, not allowed anywhere near free kicks in the future.

When was free speech and opinion deemed hate speech? In truth, It doesn't constitute a hate crime for me. Surely you dont want everyone to be like sheep do you Nobby_Baaaaarnes?

Forget the fee , he is going through a bad patch with not scoring which shows , but I hope it changes soon because if it does we will be even stronger .

He put a shift in last night , and should have scored with the back post header .

Yep I must have. He doesn't even move. For a big bloke he never wins a challenge, never holds a ball up. My daughters could play play against him and not break sweat.
