Britt having a nice little chuckle to himself again

Some people play with a smile on their face.
As for not putting in enough effort, did you not see him battling one defender for a ball, winning it and then battling against another. He is putting in a shift and played well last night, barring the easy header over the bar.
He does need to be taken off freekicks though.

I don't think he should be taking the free kicks, but your interpreation of his behavior is way off the mark. You don't have to be an expert in body language to know that's not what's going on.
 
It would be 'fine' if he had 7-8 goals and was actually decent at free kicks. He's scored 1 in 3 years with us and I don't recall him taking them at other clubs. He actually laughed when he missed the pen away at Luton....its maybe just him.

So the bigger issue is why is he suddenly our dead ball specialist? I'm not having it he's the best? They all go over the bar and not remotely close.
 
The faux outraged probably shouldn't watch anything as emotive as a game of football if the sight of someone laughing drives them to apoplexy.

Personally, I like to see players play with a smile on their face. Son for Spurs is a good example big smile when he scores, looks like he ENJOYS playing football. Other players sulk or pout, others get angry. I like a smiler.
 
Son can no way,shape or form be used in the same santence as Assombalonga...ones a footballer, the other is a ...well,take your pick, footballer he isnt...and he fkn annoyes me too with his smile when he fcuks up.....he smiles most of every game
 
Mido may have been a royal pain in the **** but he was ten times the footballer than Britt is. And I'm actually not someone who consistently badgers him. What riled me on Tuesday was that I saw ten players in red busting a gut and one playing like he'd rather be somewhere else... and he does that consistently.
 
It's not Britts' fault we were daft enough to sign him for £15m. If we'd only spent £6-7m on him we'd be saying he's been a decent signing overall.

That’s not the point MV. I’m responding to the value for money accusation. Mido may have been a better footballer but what he brought to the Club for £6m was an utter pittance of value.

Give it a rest. There is no right or wrong way to deal with things

you have a right to interoperate britt smile however you see for, doesn’t mean you are right
