Don't get me wrong, I think Britt and Akpom have been poor recently. However, they are not the problem. We create absolutely nothing & they are feeding of scraps. We could have Aguero up top and we wouldn't score. We need wingers who can cross and midfielders who can create. Simple as.
Britt & Akpom aren't the problem, stop blaming them.

With Warnock's style of play, I think this is exactly what we're missing.
We've got absolutely no aerial presence in the squad, with the exception of a long term injured Grant Hall.

We created nothing tonight of note until We were 3-0 down and Roberts slid in Tav with a neat bit of play. Our whole game tonight was give the ball to Johnson and Spence in the hope they pull off a bit of magic to get us a goal and it just never happened. There was nothing through the eye of the needle, no neat slide rule passes. Just predictable boring tactics.

Hes not consistent and all this crap about being our "top" striker - placed alongside Gestede it was no surprise. Ashley Fletcher made him look good. So did Besic at times, but faced with having to think and problem solve his inadequacies are clearly on display.

The strikers are the first and biggest problem. There are other problems but they are comparatively trivial.
If you miss chances on a regular basis and never get into the right positions then goals are scarce and you don't win very often.

That ball from Johnson in the second half was a peach. Bending away from the keeper and defenders, any instinctive striker worth his salt would have buried that. Slaven made a career out of those sort of goals.

You need to create a lot at this level, strikers aren't so clinical at this level, look at the teams promoted, they miss more chances than we create.
