Boro or England or Both?

Delighted for Gareth and the boys, they have absolutely done us proud in this tournament.

Just curious to know, do you feel as passionate about England as you do the Boro? No doubt some people will feel more passionate about England and that's understandable.

I'm sure a lot of people will feel exactly the same about England as they do the Boro.

For me my passion for the Boro is greater. The feeling I get when a Boro goal goes in (especially in a big game) just can't be matched when an England goal goes in, I am an England supporter though, no doubt, but Boro will always edge it.

Boro.

From 2014-2018 I fell out of love big time with England, but normally they’re closely behind (and they are again now).

England for me.

I'd always take success with England over success with Middlesbrough, but I'm very passionate about both.

It's close and it's hard to compare given the different formats.
Middlesbrough league matches mean far more than England qualifiers, but England tournament matches mean more than anything.

I also think my opinion might change if England ever win anything in my lifetime.

Right now I'd take an England trophy every time because of the 55 years of hurt, but if we did win something then I might lean towards preferring a Boro trophy from that point on.

Certainly more towards Boro, delighted with how things are going for England, but would 100% take promotion this season over England winning the euros

Both, which is easy as they never play each other or at the same time. Felt quite proud when the used Rockliffe and the riverside for training.

My love and passion for Middlesbrough Football Club will never be surpassed by our National team

Hard to explain in simple terms on here why

Perhaps we live with the Boro every day of our lives whilst the National team is only at tournaments.

The pain and the joy is felt more for me for that reason

As above lost interest in England over the years, poor management , players just didn't seem bothered and too many scumbag racists following England. Hopefully this tournament will help drag back patriotism from the far right.
The manager is s great example but England winning the world cup wouldn't even come close to boro winning the league or FA cup

Boro just edges it.

But I would take an England Euros win over Boro promotion. However, I would take a Boro FA cup final win over England Euros.

Doesn't even come close for me! As Marv said, I'd be over the moon if we win Sunday, but i've known myself be in a bit of a huff for a day or two after Boro lose a nothing game, if England get beat Sunday, i'll get over it pretty quickly.

Other than for about 5 minutes before the Ukraine game, don't think i've felt any nerves at all. Compare that with the week running up to the Brighton game, I've never felt anything like it!

Not much in it but I feel I've been fortunate as a Boro fan, seeing us win a trophy and compete in Europe.

I've never experienced success with England so in a way I think I care that little bit more about England. Maybe that will change if we actually win this Sunday.

It's funny but I've never actually cried after a Boro defeat. I remember crying after we lost to Argentina in 98.

I was close to tears of joy after the Brighton game though.
